Ms. Amy

Ms. Amy

North Royalton Dance Academy is proudly spearheaded by one of the nation’s elite dance instructors. Amy Stauffer has a dance resume second to none in Northeast Ohio. A dancer from the age of five, Amy has studied and practiced under some of the most elite stages the world has to offer. Amy specializes in the genres of jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, tap, cheer and ballet.

Amy has been instructing since her high school days, where she studied dance and choreography at the esteemed Harrison Arts Center campus at Lakeland (FL) High School. Her dedication and rigorous work earned Amy a full scholarship to the University of Central Florida where she majored in Bachelor of Arts. Amy's college dance team competed at UDA and her senior finished 5th in the nation; Amy was also dancer/coach of team her last 2 years of school. After receiving her Bachelor's Degree, Amy jumped into in the dance world.

Amy's world renowned performances have included stops in New York City, Paris, and Canada. Amy was recruited to perform as a dancer for World Tours of artists such as Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson, as well as having the honor to perform at Disney's Magic Kingdom for 2 seasons. Amy then took her talents into professional sports where she headlined multiple dance teams such as the National Basketball Association's Orlando Magic, and the Arena Football League's Orlando Predators.

Most recently Amy has co-owned a dance studio in New Jersey with her sister and has taught and choreographed for 5+ years earning many tops awards at local and regional competitions. The studio has a highly admired reputation in NJ for being a fun and structured environment for all levels of dancers. Amy has toured all over the states teaching master classes and looks forward to bringing all of her training and positive approaches to Cleveland.


The Stauffer Family resides in North Royalton; Amy and her husband Jeremy have 3 small children, Corlyn, JJ,and Luke.


Ms. Erin

Ms. Erin

Erin Quellhorst is originally from New Bremen, Ohio and currently resides in North Royalton. She has been studying dance for 26 years. For four years, she performed at Cedar Point in the summer live entertainment shows as a singer/dancer. Erin was nominated as Best Female Performer for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions.

She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Music Therapy degree and a Dance Performance major. In college, she studied jazz, ballet, pointe ballet, tap, and hip hop. During high school, she studied with two local dance studios for 15 years and focused her studies on jazz, ballet, pointe ballet, tap, tumbling and lyrical during those years.

Erin has experience from The Music Settlement in University Circle on Cleveland’s east side teaching dance classes for typically under developed children and teens, as well as tailoring the classes for individuals with special needs from ages 9 to 50. During the summer, she taught dance and choreographed for a variety camps and musical theater groups. In addition to her dance training and experience, Erin is a Board-Certified Music Therapist.

Currently, Erin is a Behavior Therapist at STEPS Center for Autism. She recently got engaged to her wonderful fiancé, Rob, and will be planning a wedding for August 2012. Erin is excited to share her passion of dance with the students at North Royalton Dance Academy.


Ms. Jessica

Ms. Jessica

Ms. Jessica has been dancing for 16 years. Her favorite style of dance is Lyrical. Jessica teaches Jazz, Jazz Funk, Lyrical, Tap, and Ballet classes. Jessica was on the Bruinettes Dance Team at Padua Franciscan High School. She had the opportunity to perform and choreograph performances at Walt Disney World. She has participated in dance workshops at New York City’s Broadway Dance Center as well as The Rockette’s Summer Intensive Camp. Jessica is studying to become an Art Therapist. She currently attends Cuyahoga Community College and will continue her studies at Baldwin Wallace.


Ms. Lauren

Ms. Lauren

Lauren began dancing at the age of 3 as a tap dancer and loved it so much she had to take more classes in ballet and jazz. Lauren was apart of Tour De Force entertainment company at Gotta Dance Studios in Medina, OH for about 8 years until she graduated and went off to college. During her time with the company, they competed and did multiple shows a year, attended personal workshops like the Rockettes, Broadway shows (movin' out, hairspray, and wicked). Took classes at Broadway Dance Center in NYC and at the Millennium Dance Complex and the Edge in Los Angeles, California. Lauren attended Bowling Green State University and recently graduated with a degree in event planning/tourism and a minor in dance. While at college she was on the university's dance team which performed at football games and all mens and women's basketball games. Lauren also currently works for Universal Dance Association as a dance instructor in the midwest teaching jazz, hip hop, pom, and kick.
